As a UKAS accredited organisation Armstrong York offer air monitoring services in accordance with the requirements of ISO 17025. With accreditation for testing asbestos fibres in air we are able to undertake the following tests:

- Background sampling
- Leak (enclosure check) sampling
- Reassurance sampling
- Assessment of the suitability of respirator protection
- 4-Stage clearance
All our trained analysts have undertaken the BOHS P403 and P404 examinations. Many have experience in other facets of asbestos services and have attended supervisory license holder courses. This additional experience and knowledge enables Manestream to resource air monitoring services for more complex projects with confidence.
With a fleet of commercial vehicles that have been fully customised as mobile laboratory facilities, Armstrong York can undertake analysis of samples using phase contrast microscopy, from virtually any site in the UK. We can provide a 24hours per day 7 days per week service on request and have an "emergency" call out capability. With no up-lift for out of hours working Armstrong York can provide an extremely competitive service for clients that wish to undertake asbestos projects while buildings are predominantly unoccupied.
